Buenos Aires Steak Restaurant. This little place is great. Inside is tiny, but atmospheric. It serves typical tapas and Argentinian steaks and empanadas (a typical Argentine pastry to eat as a starter). Sticks'n'Sushi Is quite a big venue. It's a popular place with the Wimbledon crowd as the prices are good. Perfect for fish lovers (try the Maki De Luxe). They have extended their menu recently and now include a very big choice. The cocktails are also to be recommended too I believe. Interesting facts: The restaurant is Danish but serves Japanese. The food is a combination of Sushi and Yakatori sticks from the grill. Founded by two brothers who are half-Japanese and half Danish.
Location: on the right of the main street, 1 minute away

Opposite Sticks'n'Sushi you will find All Bar One. They have a menu that runs from breakfasts through to evenings. Usually there are tapas and at the moment they are offering sharing menus. The Alexandra. We can confidently tell you this is one of the best pubs in Wimbledon. It has 4 different bars and great food. The tables are outside overlooking the church and the square and inside. It also has a fantastic roof terrace. Interesting fact: The pub is apparently haunted!

US owned Five Guys restaurant. It has a large number of tables and service is very quick. It only serves hamburgers, hot dogs and chips. It is good for children and is open all day. The hamburgers are fab...and the chips are really good, you can order salted or spicy. Check out their website Interesting fact: It was originally the father and his 4 sons. Another son was born so it was no longer 5 guys!
Location: on the main street on the left after the tube station

Tortilla is a Mexican restaurant serving burritos from California.
Location: On the main street opposite Morrisons.
These are just some of the main places, but you will no doubt spot others too. All of them are child friendly and many are open late...so it is easy to try new dishes you might not be familiar with. As you can see, on a one or even two week holiday you'll be spoiled for choice!
One final mention....Pizza Pilgrims is a new addition. It is minutes away from the property, just by the station. Real authentic pizza with great decor. Pop in and take a look, they are very friendly and the pizzas are made by Italians. Really lovely.
